Last updated: 23 July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Turkish Kitchen Durham uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
This template is intended for the restaurant's review. Please have it checked by a qualified UK legal adviser and update the cookie table below with any additional analytics or advertising tools you enable.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to work correctly, remember preferences and help us understand how visitors use it.
2. Categories of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function (for example, keeping you signed in to the admin area or remembering that the booking modal is open). These cannot be switched off.
- Functional — remember choices you make, such as recent booking preferences.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Currently limited to first-party interaction counts (e.g. clicks on "Book a Table"). No personal profile is built.
- Third-party — set by services embedded on our site, principally OpenTable when the reservation widget is opened, and Google Maps if a map is displayed.
3. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. You can also opt out of the OpenTable booking widget by calling us directly to reserve on the phone. Please note that disabling cookies may affect some features of this site.
4. Third-party services
- OpenTable Privacy Policy
- Google Privacy Policy (used for Maps and font delivery)
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page indicates when it was last revised.
